Director
Tara began her career in dentistry over 20 years ago after swapping her spanners and wrenches serving in the RAF as an Avionics Engineer for dental instruments as a RAF Dental Hygienist. She graduated with Merit in 2007 and was awarded the Commanding Officers Prize for top graduate.
After retirement from the RAF she spread her wings to Kenya where she project managed the opening of a dental centre in the local cottage hospital and spent time in outreach clinics providing desperately needed care to the community.
In 2020 She returned to the UK, joining the Royal Navy providing dental care both ashore and deployed aboard Warships. During this time she trained as a coach and mentor and prides herself on a calm, gentle and holistic approach to treating patients. She believes in making treatment as stress free and comfortable as possible whilst striving to deliver the highest standard of care for her patients.
When Tara is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, open water swimming, hockey and horse riding at every opportunity.
Sian Cowper
Dental Therapist
Sian is a skilled and caring dental therapist, qualifying in 2022 she loves nothing more than helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, she takes pride in educating patients and making every appointment a positive experience.
Outside of dentistry, she’s a passionate animal lover and an avid plant enthusiast- so much so, she’s earned the nickname “The Plant Stalker” for her talent in finding (and collecting!) rare and unusual houseplants. Whether she’s tending to her growing indoor jungle or spending time with furry friends, her love for nature shines through in everything she does.
Shannon Ruler
Admin / New patient co-ordinator.
Shannon handles the admin side of the practice, from booking appointments and responding to patient enquiries, to managing our social media and digital content, making sure patients can find clear, useful information about our services. Shannon brings warmth, efficiency and a genuine passion for patient care to every interaction. Her focus is on making things run smoothly behind the scenes so our clinical care stays front and centre.
Away from the screen, she loves being outdoors, exploring new places, and enjoying good food with her husband and daughter.
