Founder & Dental Hygienist
Tara began her career in dentistry over 20 years ago after swapping her spanners and wrenches serving in the RAF as an Avionics Engineer for dental instruments as a RAF Dental Hygienist. She graduated with Merit in 2007 and was awarded the Commanding Officers Prize for top graduate.
After retirement from the RAF she spread her wings to Kenya where she project managed the opening of a dental centre in the local cottage hospital and spent time in outreach clinics providing desperately needed care to the community.
In 2020 She returned to the UK, joining the Royal Navy providing dental care both ashore and deployed aboard Warships. During this time she trained as a coach and mentor and prides herself on a calm, gentle and holistic approach to treating patients. She believes in making treatment as stress free and comfortable as possible whilst striving to deliver the highest standard of care for her patients.
When Tara is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, open water swimming, hockey and horse riding at every opportunity.

What is a Mobile Dental Service?
A mobile dental service provides dental care directly to patients in various locations using a special mobile chair and portable dental unit (PDU). These services can be offered at schools, nursing homes, workplaces, community centres and in the comfort of your own home, making dental care more accessible.

We offer:
Full oral health assessment including oral cancer screening
Full mouth scale (clean)
Polish with prophylaxis paste
Bespoke oral hygiene education designed to make your dental routine as simple and easy as possible
Diet advice and education
Denture care
Erosion/Attrition care (the removal of enamel by fizzy or acidic food and drinks)
At present We do NOT offer the following dental services:
• X-rays
• Extractions
• Dentures and other prosthetic services
• Emergency dental care (if you’re in pain you will need to book with an emergency dentist)

What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first visit, our dental team will:
• Review your medical and dental history
• Perform a comprehensive dental examination (excl Xrays)
• Gain informed valid verbal and written consent before commencing any treatment
• Discuss any findings and recommended treatments
• Answer any questions you may have
How do you ensure safety and hygiene in a mobile setting?
We adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control, following guidelines from the General dental council (GDC) and Care Quality Commission (CQC) Our mobile units are equipped with sterilisation equipment,
and we use disposable materials wherever possible.
Our company is registered with the CQC and all dental professionals are registered with the GDC
Does your service accommodate dentally anxious patients?
Yes absolutely! In our experience dental anxiety is increased when in a dental clinic environment. Having treatment in the safety and comfort of your own home can alleviate the initial nervous feeling, and our teams are calm, caring, supportive and provide professional care when working with dentally anxious / neurodivergent patients.
What if I need a referral to a Dentist?
If your dental needs require the attention of a dentist, we will advise you to book an appointment with your dentist
